for those of you meteor lovers out there, here's a treat for you guys, The Persieds are coming (as they say) in the month of August, and what I heard yesterday was the peak day for meteor shower hunters! Well, i tried to see but what I only see was just the moon?

I don't really had any experience in this but any pointers? anyways I googled about the Persieds and it's really B.E.A.Utiful!!!! The reason this meteor shower is called Persieds is from the constellation Perseus. well probably...sounds to me Perseus had a bathroom break :D

They had come up with the schedule when to watch though and I'm still wondering how the heck they can do that...
| Year | Perseids active between | Peak of shower |
|---|---|---|
| 2010 | July 23 – August 24 | August 12 (ZHRmax 142) |
| 2009 | July 14 – August 24 | August 13 (ZHRmax 173) |
| 2008 | July 25 – August 24 | August 13 (ZHRmax 116) |
| 2007 | July 19 – August 25 | August 13 (ZHRmax 93) |
| 1972 | August 12: reported to be the most active shower in recorded history |
You see...everyone is a fan of meteor shower apparently, even Owl City has a song about it :D
So the next time you plan a meteor watch trip thing, you can take this song as a theme song and play it while you watch the meteor, ain't that cool? hahaha...
